Tucked away in the beautiful mountains of Big Bear Lake lies this client’s hillside retreat and now one of Big Bears top Air B&B’s and featured in Dwell Magazine.

When the time came to fully remodeling this originally very outdated cabin and revamp the interior design from the ground up, We came up with beautiful custom architectural details to furnishings, art, and accents.

We anchored this home’s interior concepts to a set series of anatomical lines, all of which can be seen throughout via the architecture and the finishing, inspired by iconic Mid Century Design. With a cohesive language established, we then added rich red wood slat walls and finishings, vertical pattens and warm reach colors to each room. To complement all the red wood textures we added in the remodel, we also implemented leather seating, wood tables, and warm neutral textures. The result is a space that’s filled with vertical wood touches, warm tones and mid century magic.
